Activity-Based Workshops
Turn Trash Into Treasure
Schedule sessions to come and learn how everyday items are built by breaking items apart and looking inside at how they work!
These sessions are created for those who love to investigate, explore, and learn how things work. We will use pieces of trash and turn them into treasure!
Students will have fun learning mathematical and physics concepts while they simultaneously build executive function skills like planning, sequencing, predicting, reflecting, self-monitoring and executing tasks. These sessions are perfect for the creative mind and future engineers.
Location: Carraway Center
Cost: Variable depending on number of hours
Dates & Times:
* Individual sessions are scheduled at a time of your choosing. They can be all done in one week, with 2 hours per day for 4 days or they can be set up for 2 hours per week, every week.
*Small Group Sessions: You can also ask a few friends to join you and put together your own group with dates and times that work for your specific group.
Project History Sessions
Spend several days researching and investigating a specific time period in history that you are really interested in.
Do you want to learn more about World War 1, the Civil War, the Reformation, the Egyptians, or the American Colonies?
Pick a time period and enjoy learning how to read, research, & write about what you discover. These sessions are designed for those who love history and want to improve their research and writing skills. Students will create art pieces and fun projects throughout their study as well!
Location: Carraway Center
Length: 2 - 8 hours (parent chooses)
Cost: Variable depending on number of hours

Watercolor Lessons
Dive into the colorful world of watercolor in fun and engaging individual lessons! Students will learn new techniques like blending, layering and creating cool textures with water and color. We will use our imagination and creativity as we learn how to paint a variety of images.
